Thanks Dave. Sounds exactly like the car with the exception of the dual gate. The car had an unmodified factory console shifter. That is the hood it had when new. The car was built for a fellow funny car driver by the name of John Penso. The car also had a tow bar mounted on the front which I still have. I know the car is real, but the more documentation the better. Unfortunately, the car is no longer mine. It belongs to another member of this site and may even be repainted by now. Sorry if has taken me a long time to reply, I have been in the mainland for a month now and rarely have time to go on the computer. To the member who bought the car, I have the front bumper, tow hitch, and maybe a few other parts here in CA that I will be glad to send out if you send me your address again.
