Yeah, when I ordered my Polyglass tires for my LS-6 they asked when it was built, and when I asked "why", they told me about the white letter thing. I told them, but I also told them I didn't really care, as I just needed the tires immediately (it was the week of the Pure Stock Drags!).
But, I still don't know any more about the white letter thing, but I would probably say that Brian does....
