For a 69 Motion Camaro, I believe they should all be X-22 or X-66 cars and have started life as a 396-375 HP car. This is a good first step. Next, you need to confirm it was sold by Baldwin Chevrolet. IRONCLAD mentioned a few things to check for, but all Motion cars did not have all of these options. Another tell tale sign is re-welded spring perches. If all of the above check out, then it would be a good investment to attempt to verify the car through Joel Rosen.

Remember Baldwin Chevrolet sold a lot of cars including many 396-375 hp Camaros that were not converted by Motion. I have heard there are only about 10 legit '69 Baldwin Motion Camaros remaining. Maybe you'll get lucky.
