Default Re: Yenko 427 motor found?

Sounds interesting.
The VIN number that this guy is showing, 57008, is obviously missing a digit. The engine assembly plant code of 'V' does not seem to coincide with the Tonawanda, which I thought should be a 'T'. The engine assy date doesn't seem to make sense, '1296'? At least the engine application code of 'MN' denotes an L72, 4-speed, Camaro.

Hopefully, the guy can re-check the codes to see if he copied something incorrectly.
