Yes, it was Dam Neck Naval training station near Virginia beach. The car that I remember was a definitely a four speed, I remember that it had a fancy Hurst shifter with a separate reverse lockout lever. I didnt know what the extra lever was for at the time. The car may have come from further up north, since most of us on that base had just come from the sub school in New London Conneticut. Mt memory is weak, but it may have had a for sale sign on it at the time.
My 69 Nova is safe in the Garage, but it is just the 350 HP model, not an L78 unfortunately. Not a 427 like the ones on this site, sorry.
