It's fairly straightforward to get those rotors next to perfect. I cut 1.5" square shims with a half inch hole in the center out of a beer can and stuffed them behind the rotor in the inboard areas. Got my originals to within .002 on both sides. Like yourself, I wanted to use the originals, having very little faith in the aftermarket. One of mine even had a groove in it, but I'm still more than happy to reuse that. Brakes turned out very good. ... oh, and loving the build updates.

I ordered some shims from McMaster Carr yesterday. I should have them on Monday. I'll take a swing at getting the runout closer
