However, 406's were still in use at the same time. I have recorded many legit 406's with June assembly dates, including several stamped T0627EG (including my 07B Coupe and my 07D ElCamino) and T0628EG.

Steve, was your yellow Chevelle a 323 or a 406? I have it recorded as T0705EX, but didn't have a pic of the casting no.

I owned that car 25ish years ago. I will check for pics and notes I have on the car.
