Default Thanks!

I'm the owner of the '74 Camaro mentioned originally in this thread and I wanted to thank everyone for their interest and comments. Just to be clear, I am well aware that "they didn't make a 'Yenko Camaro' in 1974". I don't claim that this car is such a thing. What it is, is a 1974 Type LT Z28 Camaro bought from the Yenko dealership by a mechanic who worked there at the time and got help from Don Yenko himself modifying it with parts to essentially make the numbers matching 350 an LT1 (minus the solid lifters per Don's recommendation).

About the wheels... the factory five spoke rally wheels were stolen while the original owner was storing it in a church parking lot. He put the Corvette rallies on it, which I have kept to put on it at car shows with period correct Mickey Thompson Indy Profile tires. I drive it around with Ansen slots.

There is much more to this car's story and I love telling it to anyone who is interested. The original post has a link to the car's Facebook page.
