In the 80's they were a little farther west on the same (south) side of Ogden Ave. in Westmont - just west of Cass Ave. I just looked at a Google Earth view and it looks like the building is no longer there (unless it is the Georgia Carpets building??). The summer I worked there I was 15 and too young for a driver's license, so many times I rode my bike up and down Cass Ave. to get back and forth to work from our house in Darien.

Tenney - that Hemmings ad was just after Dad bought his 67 Red L79/A-C roadster from Richard (and how we were introduced to Bill and Stretch around 1976). I think Dad was also looking at the Maroon 67 coupe listed in that ad if I recall correctly - but Bill talked him into the roadster. Bill please correct me if I am mistaken......

Great memories for sure. Hard to believe that it was 40 years ago when I worked there and almost 50 when Dad bought the 67.
