I already had the holes drilled for the right fender and after using the chalk line to determine the body line, I put tape on the fender to look at it the emblems again. They were not parallel and a little too high, so I "tweaked " the holes as much as I could to get them as close as possible without welding 6 holes shut and trying to get hardened metal to follow the original compound curves after grinding and sandpaper finishing. They aren't real bad but not where I would like them. Using the same method to find the body line on the left fender, I used my template, cut down to lay on the tape and even with the nose and drilled the holes. Again, not perfect and needing some tweaking, but they are pretty darn good. I did leave that side a tad high too, so the 2 sides didn't appear too unequal.
