Okay, so I went and put hands on the car this morning...driver's door is frozen (rusted?) shut so could not see VIN tag. here's a pic of the engine pad. Appears to be a '66 396/325 and the VIN looks to be from a Wilmington, DE built car....so no bueno on being original engine and therefore no way to determine if a factory L78 car. To say this car is rusty is an understatement. I didn't dig any further than the engine stamp pad because I'm not sure if my tetanus shot is up to date.
