1969 "US" Camaro Master Cylinder Dated "45"
This is a rebuilt Master Cylinder for a 1969 Camaro code "US".
It is casting #5488309 and is dated "45" (Feb 14th, 1969).
It was rebuild and incorrectly installed on a restored 1968 Firebird but never put into service. Also incorrectly painted Gray. It was removed for the correct part to be installed.
As you can see this is a very clean pit free part. Date / part # casting are nice and legible as is the most important "US" stamping as you can see in photo.
This was epoxy primed and painted so if you were to disassemble, bead blast and properly paint this part the casting number and date would turn out even nicer.
Has bale wires but no top.
