So much truth here!

When I bought my red '67 SS in '67, the agent from the company my parents had been with for 30 years came out.

Wanted the stamp on the block, said they would only insure it because it was an L35, no L34 or L78. $300 for 1st 6 months and IF I had NO tickets they MIGHT renew!! That's $50/month for a student making $1.25 an hour pumping gas...

I was able to keep the car after finding another company with a rate of $47 for 6 months, on the condition my parents also switched.

Then came the OPEC crisis, the last nail...
