Default 1969 COPO Camaro

This is an authentic and documented 1969 COPO Camaro that was sold new out of Jim Funston Chevrolet in Detroit Michigan. it features the 100% original, born with 427 L72 engine, CX code Turbo 400 automatic with factory console and correct BE code 4:10 rear end.

The car received a full rotisserie restoration in 2021 by Super Car Workshop in Latrobe PA. Brian and Joe are the best in the business when it comes to these cars, and have probably restored more of them than anybody. This was a complete and total restoration, with every component fully restored and refurbished to exact factory standards. Photos do not do it justice, as there is virtually nothing on this car that is less than perfect.

Flawless bodywork and code 72 Hugger Orange paint was performed by Supercar restorations in Clymer, PA, who are well versed in these cars and the factory correct painting and body assembly processes. This car is as flawless on the bottom as it is on top.
Original 427 was fully rebuilt by A1 Machine in Greensburg PA, a shop with an impeccable attention to detail and dyno proven results.

This car is very well documented, and includes the original GM Protecto-Plate, as well as vintage photographs and owner history dating all the way back to 1971. The original black standard interior was in amazing condition and was cleaned and reinstalled during the restoration. This car is very uniquely optioned, with factory console automatic, radio delete, vinyl top and 14" rally wheels. It is a stunner in person and a car that stands out from the rest. I am also able to provide additional photos during the restoration, as well as photographs of all stamps, original markings, etc.

I am posting this car on behalf of the owner, because I have personally known this car and followed it's restoration since it arrived at Super Car Workshop. I know it is one of the best restorations you will ever see, and I give it my full endorsement. I should also note the car is located in Northern CA. Yes it's expensive, but it is a 100% no excuses, no expense spared restoration of one of the rarest Camaros on the planet by the best shop in the business...fully documented, turn-key and ready to go. You simply won't find a better example of a 1969 COPO Camaro anywhere. Make this car the star of your collection!
