To me, the interior doesn't indicate being submerged...no evidence of silt or extreme rust on components. All the rust under the hood can be from the salty rain and humidity they live in. If it was parked in a brick building, which there are many for hurricane codes, it would explain the rust on everything under the hood. The blotchy paint is a curiosity to me. Is that from the salt air penetrating the layers of fiberglass over time ?
