I took my 69 Z to an autograph signing for Reggie Jackson. Big car guy. I dropped the keys on the table, pointed to it outside, and said “Reggie, go take it for a ride!”. He looked at the car and said “Burnished Brown, my favorite. I’ve got a COPO In that color, I love it!” “But, I’m a little busy, maybe another time”. There were about 500 people standing on line waiting for his autograph. Then I had him sign my Reggie tattoo of him hitting his 3rd home run in game 6 of the 77 World Series off Charlie Hough. I told him I was going to have his signature tattooed on, he said I was nuts!
