I’ve used boeshield on them too I use that on my 300x boat engines but it leave a nasty film I was looking for something I don’t need to clean off that’s permanent preferably. Thought about silver por15 in a rag and wipe it into any pitts good, then wipe it off let whatever is left seal uo the pores in the chrome to make it solid . I have another set I think I’m gonna test that on the other set. Both these ideas posted are good and things I’ve used in the past. But they still get slight pitting in that area. Not bad for at least 35 years on the car. One is perfect like NOS. . It’s just this one giving me headaches
