Remember the fact that the Dodge Daytona only won 2 races during the 1969 racing season. So who was the big winner that year?
You are looking at it - the Torino Talledaga. Drivers David Pearson and Richard Petty racked up 26 wins with this car. Ford was VERY happy.
No huge rear wing like the Daytona. But the Sportroof sloped back body was just as effective. The "drop nose" front made the air go up and over the body instead of under it which would create unwanted lift.
