Default Pontiac "068" Camshaft and lifters: Melling SPC-7

Melling SPC-7 reproduction camshaft and lifter set made by the same company that made them originally.

Reproduction camshaft of the Pontiac "068" cam used in many Pontiac performance engines from 1965 to 1972 including the 455HO.

I ran this setup in my Grandma's 1975 Firebird Esprit when I first rebuilt the original 350 enigine. After about 1,000 miles I decided to replace the 350 shortblock with a 1970 455.

Here's the original rebuild thread: https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthre...=113621&page=5

As a result, I removed the SPC-7 camshaft and oiled it up properly for storage. I also carefully marked each lifter and placed each one in a box that was marked with its postion like "Int cyl 1" etc., in case someone wants to install the cam with the known set of good lifters which were successfully paired together.

The cam specs are as follows:

Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 212
Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 225
Duration at 050 inch Lift: 212 int./225 exh.
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.408 in.
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.407 in.
Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.408 int./0.407 exh.
Lobe Separation (degrees):113
