Unanimous, the TT's look much better with the color.
You will blow thru on the pinhole. I start at least an 1/8th inch outside with reduced heat and quite a bit more wire speed. Short, tack welds until you find good enough metal to weld to. Once you have a solid perimeter, you weld to that and close up the hole. Careful grinding to flush and a spray of salt water on the bare metal will blend it some.
If you have a Dent Fix Eliminator, with the medium wire wheel, will make a close replication of metal texture to hide the grinder marks. I always finish grind with 120 too.
