I placed a deposit on a new Porsche 992 recently. The paperwork included a document prohibiting me from selling the car to anyone for 12 months and giving the dealer the first right of refusal if I wanted to sell it within the first 24 months of ownership. I escalated my refusal to the dealership owner and he agreed to remove those clauses given that I was a repeat customer.
