That was the curse of the old standardized testing back in the 1960's. We all had to take the actual Iowa Quotient (IQ) tests in first grade That was the spring of 1969 for me. Whatever the heck I scored ruined me for life because from that year on, every report card had that same quote... "Not working up to his potential".

Eventually when I bloomed into an apprentice wise-ass in high school, I asked my guidance counselor: "Well you're the experts, tell me what my potential is and I'll work up to it."

They never gave me an answer. So here I am with the rest of you underachieving hooligans.
