I spoke with both the husband and wife who currently own the car. They pulled it out from the yard and stored it for the owner for many years….something like 20 years. He’s wanted to by the car from the owner the whole time and the owner finally sold it to them a few weeks prior to the show. IIRC
They are on the fence when considering restoring the car but for now, they plan on getting it road worthy and just driving the car. They were very nice people and happy to tell the story….over and over again.
That car had a LOT of attention! There was a Hemi Daytona in the middle isle just in front of it…..and as rare as that Daytona is, it got no where near the attention of the Yenko.
