Thought I'd post some updates as we continue to enjoy the 409. Most everything is now sorted out on the car, this spring we rebuilt the generator, installed a new voltage regulator, battery, and had the clock rebuilt. It is really nice to be able to hop in an almost 60 year old car and have it start right up and be able to take it for a ride with everything working correctly. We now have about 400 miles on the new driveline and it is breaking in nicely

There is a hot dog/ice cream stand local to my parents (Johnny K's on Rte. 34) and in the warmer months they host a cruise every other Tuesday evening. Last night was the final one for the season and the weather cooperated nicely (mid 70's during the day and lots of sunshine). My brother and I met up with our parents and took their cars over to enjoy the evening together. The turnout was pretty good for so late in the season here. Enjoyed rowing through the gears with my Dad riding shotgun on the way home.
