Hey guys,
I found what I was told was an NOS cam - it was covered with cosmoline that someone started cleaning off years ago and it was dirty - see the before photos on the blue fuzzy matting.
Took it too my machine shop and they cleaned it up and hit it with some emery cloth - my machinist said it looks good and he wouldn't hesitate to run it but I cannot confirm nor deny that it's unused - one who saw these photos said it was used, and if it was, it's certainly got low hours on it, IMHO. After cleaning photos on green towel.
Here's photos - and I'm pricing it accordingly. Good for your 427 or 454 Big Block BBC budget build.
No GM tube or part number tag - but it's stamped 9181 as shown.
I am sure that it's as genuine as leather!
