The first NASCAR Stock Car to average 200 MPH. This of course led to the end of the "Winged Warriors" and purpose built "Stock Cars" like the Torino Talledaga and the Mercury Spoiler II. Goodyear was VERY worried because their NASCAR tires were rated for 200 MPH and the cars were exceeding this speed by a very healthy amount on the straightaways.
