Agreed, but SCCA Trans Am wanted them for the 5.0L homologation rules blah, blah, blah
But Mopar had the right idea to do a de-stroke of the 340, thus keeping the extra inches for the AAR/TA street versions. Not sure why Ford didn't do the same. Can a 351 Cleveland be de-stroked to a 5.0L engine? With 1969 technology considered of course?
