12 Bolt GM Eaton 3 series Posi Unit with 3.31 Gears
3 Series 30 spline Posi Unit EDB 30140
The ring has nothing stamped on it.
The Pinion gear has 3862693 13-43 GM
stamped on it.
This 3 series unit and gears were removed from my
1970 chevelle LS6 with documented 41,000 miles
in the registry.
These were factory gears that were original to the car.
I installed a set of 410's instead. The car is long sold.
Everything was working fine when removed and no damage.
Looking back I should have just left the original gears in and
never removed them.
All pieces are there for a complete switch over.
