One of the biggest differences between the 1965 and 1966 GT350 is how Shelby dealt with axle/wheel hop. The 1965 has "overrider" traction bars which were located above the rear axle that were very time consuming to install. The 1966 GT350 has "underrider" traction bars (sourced from Traction Master Co.) that took just a matter of minutes to install
