This elaborate luxury kitchen is from the most expensive house ever to be sold at auction, Le Palais Royal in Florida. The 11-bedroom house was packed with over-the-top features, including $3 million (£2.3m) worth of 22-carat gold leafing. The polished mahogany cabinets have a curved front and gold beveled frames, which matches the gilded cornice on the ceiling and the trio of crystal chandeliers.
