The remotely operated vehicle Hercules is retrieved from the waters off Nikumaroro Island onto the deck of the E/V Nautilus after the last day of searching for Amelia Earhart’s missing Lockheed Electra 10e. Ballard and his team were unsuccessful in finding any evidence of her plane.
