Round House, Cortlandt Manor, New York
The late American comedian, musician and actor Jackie Gleason built the Round House in 1959 as a retreat from his busy working life. Gleason's interest in the paranormal was well-documented and he fittingly nicknamed the 3,950-square-foot home The Mothership.
