This bellhousing has been in storage since the early 70's. It came off of a 1969 Nova race car that had a 427 in it. Looking at all the parts that came with this bellhousing, the car looks to have been an L78 built in late Jan or Feb. The last picture shows other parts that came to me in the same deal.

This bellhousing is free of cracks and all threads are in good shape. It still rings like a bell. Unfortunately, it was poorly stored and has heavy, heavy pitting on the inside, which goes all the way through to the outside in isolated areas. It still looks nice from the outside. Someone with a tig welder could probably make short work of filling in the pits from the inside.
