That is a good casting number.
I have never seen any 440 block without a VIN pad....unless it's early....like maybe a '66-'68. Before they were stamping on the top rear of the block, near where the trans mates to the engine. After you stop bleeding have another look

Wonder what the casting date is. Block almost looks turquoise in the pics....may be early.
