So, yes Mike likes 66's but who says they have to be Chevelles?? I mean, nice is nice and when something needs a new home., I'm happy to help. Especially a good friend who always has nice toys! So in his own words to me:
"I bought this truck, because this was the vehicle I drove in high school and college and I just wanted one! It's a 1966 which I know you love "66's., Ford F-100 2 WD Base Model. Rangoon Red with Red Vinyl Interior. I bought it from a gentleman on a vineyard in CA…but he was 6’8” tall and finally decided he needed something else. The original motor is the big 352 V8! and fully restored. The manual 3 speed transmission is fully restored, a new 9” Ford rear axle was installed. The "optional" AM radio is restored, it has new wheels and tires and original restored hubcaps. I have lots of paperwork on it. Believe it or not., she will burn rubber without a problem... It's solid. It's a great truck that not only runs great but gets you plenty of looks when you are out driving in it. It is time for someone else to enjoy it though. Maybe consider it a Big Red X-Mas Sleigh!"
