Next little project is to “restore“ the towbar. The original owner’s (Wayne) way to get to the track in the early years was to tow with his dad‘s 66 Ford short bed. I wanted to maintain the original look of my tow bar so I cleaned and derusted (with Metal Rescue) first followed by a light rub down with quad ought steel wool, and then finished off with a coat of Johnson’s paste wax.
