One other observation: notice all the tread tracks on the pavement? Reminds me of a story (lol):
When we did the photo shoot on my Chevelle for Popular Hot Rodding, naturally we did the obligatory "burnout" shot.
I guess I've never done a burnout that wasn't at the drag strip, so I didn't realize the level of "stiction" on the road surface while the tires were hot. After the burnout I putt-putted over to the next location and the car left these two black stripes the whole way even though I was going about two mph.
Photos were by Robert McGaffin; he had me drive around and around in a circle until the lighting or angle would be just right, then he'd snap a photo and have me circle around and do another. Naturally it was leaving these black stripes on the pavement as I went round and round (the spool in the rear axle probably didn't help in this regard either).
At any rate - take a look at the published photo. He photoshopped the stripes out from behind the car, for artistic license, but they remain in front of the car.*
Same photos and text were used for Popular Hot Rodding, Super Chevy and "Chevelle: Chevy's Hi Performance Muscle Car or Some Such Thing" magazines.

*also - my son Joseph was sitting in the car with his foot on the brake, to illuminate the brake lights for that shot. He was also tasked with taking the "behind the scenes" photo of the burnout shot but got so caught up in the moment he forgot to click the shutter.
