NOS 3946074 Big Block Chevy Aluminum Heads L88 ZL1 Ported by Sam Gianino
This is a pair of New Old Stock 3946074 aluminum heads for Big Block Chevy engines. These heads were originally developed for the ZL1 and second design L-88 engines. They have rectangular intake ports, round exhaust ports, and open combustion chambers. These heads were a favorite of drag racers and hot rodders in the late 60's-1980's and are still a respected performance head to this day. This particular set was taken to the next level by racing legend Sam Gianano with intake porting, exhaust porting, and combustion chamber clean up. After being ported, these heads were put on a shelf in cool, dry storage where they sat until a few weeks ago.
These heads are in mint condition as shown. They have never been used or installed. The work done by Gianano is flawless. All casting marks, winter's snowflake markings, etc are intact and undisturbed. Being NOS units, the threads are mint. They really don't get better than this!
