12 Bolt 4.88 Ring & Pinion 3862516/3862528
I have a used but nice set of GM 4.88 12 bolt gears
The pinion part number is 3862516 and dated 2/69
The ring gear part number 3862528 and dated 4/70
I believe the GM part number is 3961404
The teeth count is 39/8
These gears came out of a 1971 Camaro.
The ring gear has a small chip on the heal of the gears....it doesn’t affect anything but just wanted to disclose that.
