Default 68 BB Nova...

As Brent pointed out the VIN is much too early for the big block application. Our Butternut Yellow 68 was built last week of February 1968 and our VIN is about 10,000 units later than this car.

As for the rarity of the L-34 in 68, that is a fact...very few were made. Chris Teed has the blue one he got from Wayne Bushey...there have been a few others around, but not many. The TH400 makes it even rarer...this car [if it was real] is all about the transmission. I'm not positive, but I believe the tranny tag would have CE on it...and of course the VIN stamp would tell the story for sure.

I like the Chevelle SS 396 badge on the grill

The engine setup looks like a later unit, considering the alternator is on the wrong side...core support is not correct, etc.

Show us the trim tag, trans and engine stamps and we will take a look
