This was a perfect day to cruise on over to Pavilions at Talking Stick for the McDonalds Rock and Roll Car and Bike Show. Bruce and I drove over and arrived around 11:30. John W and Toby S were already there. As the day went on, virtually all of the Desert DerelictSS showed up, as it was our day to park in club row.
Great to meet up with everyone. Not pictured below were Mike G, Rich and Ellen R, Ward G, and Sizzler Wayne.
I appreciate all of the comments and kudos I received today at Pavilions. I would like to make a comment at this time. When walking through any car show or cruise, I will photograph stuff I like, or catches my eye. Just so happens I like lots of stuff! If there is a truly unique car at a show or cruise, I will make an extra effort to shoot it. One week, a car may not catch my eye, but will another week. All depends on the "presentation".
If a car is parked weird, if there is a weird shadow cast on it, if the presentation does not appeal to me, if there are chairs and other distractions around it, or if people are sitting in front of it, I will keep walking. It's not meant to disrespect anyone, but I will not inconvenience anyone to "get out of my way" to photograph a car. I am only respecting one's right of relaxation.
