i had issues with the glued jute backing....seems that the carpet got bunched up and the jute got glued to the backing - thus - it would never lay nice and flat, or correctly contoured.

Also have sound the jute installed mis-aligned with the actual recesses in the floor....causing
it to have bumps where you don't want them.

It was a real PIA to take off the jute backing from the carpet....used razor blades to slice it loose - not fun.....

for me in the future, id get it uninstalled but glue it to the floor areas correctly and hope the carpet lays better.
