The city of Los Angeles is known by this name, but in truth it isn’t the city’s actual name. The official name of the Californian city is El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reyna de Los Angeles del Rio Porciuncula, which translates as The Town of Our Lady Queen of Angels of the Porciuncula River.
