If we are to believe the story - this car was ordered new by a female Delco executive in Rochester, NY. It was ordered with the 1LE package, LB9/MK6 5spd combination, the upgraded cassette stereo, power door locks, rear defroster and of all things leather seating.
Breakdown by numbers:
469 1991 1LE Z28's produced
283 5spd LB9's
14 with leather
Now, I don't like guys who break down car production by the most obscure RPO code just to make the car appear rare - it's just there for informational purposes and this car stands on it's own. It's got a little over 61,000 miles on it now, still wears every single original body panel, is completely numbers matching front to back except for the exhaust - it has replacement cats & an SLP two on the left exhaust - new injectors too (the multitechs all go bad). The hood blisters were painted black and the windows were tinted by a previous owner and I liked the look so I kept it that way. I had the radio repaired and have added an aux cord that comes up where the ash tray is so you can connect a phone or ipad.
Great documentation, GM docs, original window sticker, still in the wrapper owners manual with cassette I believe.
