If it was, than it wasn't my car as mine was a low horse. He remembers that the guy said he wished he'd never sold that car back in the 70's.
Al couldn't remember the guys name but gave me another name to a friend who was also in the club. His name is George Primm who also lives in Illinois. I contacted George through Facebook and he said the guys name is Gary Place. He was going to contact him and get me his number.
So for now......I'll keep digging to see if this gets anywhere. Or maybe I'll get information on someone else's Lemans Post car.......

I would bet money the Chevelle that Al is referring to... was owned by Ralph Schram (Spelling?) who was a member of the NICC.....and who also attended the NCOA Chevelle Showdowns which were usually held on 4th of July weekends in the late '90`s in Schaumburg, IL. Ralph lived in my town, Elmhurst and owned a 1969 Lemans Blue SS396 L78 300 Deluxe Post Sedan Chevelle. The car is alive, well and in my registry.
It`s the same car once at Volo and once at Legendary Motorcar, with Peter Klutt.
