It goes great, handles good with the 205/60-15 T/A's. The transmission has a TV (throttle valve) rod from the carbs to the trans. You can adjust your shirt points from under the hood. You can adjust it to chirp the tire shifting to second gear. This car really moves on the open road. The shift pattern on these cars is P N D S L R. The "S" does not stand for second gear, it stands for "Super Range", which is more aggressive shifting and holds the gear unless 60 mph is reached, then it will shift to "Drive". It is a four speed range trans. The fluid coupling has the 1-2 shift which you can not feel or control.
