This was a give away for sure. The gentleman was 71 Yrs. old. We Had a lot of conversation during him buying this car from me. He is an original Woodward Drag racer and cruiser. His first car was a 65 Dart GT 273 Hipo with a factory 4 speed. 4.10 gears. Engine had a cam and some goodies. Said the car ran real good. He had a lot of different muscle cars over the years and still does. He likes clean oddball cars. He has a 69'Rambler Scrambler he has owned for over 29 years. Came out of Wisconsin. He said he has it down to 12:18's. Non restored car A scheme red sides and clean with original patina. A 2002 Z28 Camaro low miles some goodies dark Blue Metallic. 2013 Shelby Mustang ragtop Black with some goodies. All his cars were mint and well cared for. When he arrived to look at the Hornet he said wow could not believe how nice and clean it was. He told me you were not BS'ing about the car and it was the first time he said that the car is exactly as described. The engine dyno'd at 435. H.P. . I took him for a ride and I hammered it off the line and we were all over sideways left and right feathering all the way thru 1st and second. He said sold. LOL. I am glad it went to a great guy. I even delivered it to him a hour and a half north of me instead of him driving it home with his wife following him. He loved my Gremlin also. It was such a good time and I enjoyed his Woodward Racing stories and hanging out at Ted's Drive In and the cars that were running up and down. Guy's like him and us are priceless. Amen
