I'm not so sure what the judges said at MCACN should be construed as them being "fooled". (?)
If I'm reading Bill Braun's notes correctly (from an excerpt posted here), he notes that the pad stamp looks to be "correct for this car"------he doesn't say (from what I've read) "this engine was installed at the factory in this car". We're now down to "picking fly sh!t out of the rice bowl" on this car, but to say that the "judges were fooled" isn't a correct statement (from what has been presented here). I get that the car is a "build", but claiming to have duped some judges is really twisting things.
