I tabled my "intercom" project about a year ago as I could not figure why my large Western Electric wall mount phone would not transmit. Tonight I traced the problem down (broken solder joint on the push-to-talk mechanism) and all systems are a GO. Next is to set up the house portion of this intercom with another Western Electric (desktop handset with separate metal battery box). Now the Mrs can get a hold of me to come in and do my chores that I am most likely avoiding! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]
