More attic leftovers that were buried ages ago...
Here's a vintage Day 2 kind of distributor. It's a Mallory Double Life Dual Point Tach Drive Chevrolet distributor. Model number ZC465HP. From the little info I can find, the "C" is for Corvette usage (hence the tach drive), and the HP is for High Performance.
This includes the complete dist as pictured, with cap and wires, plus another used cap and upper wire holder and rubber insert, plus a NOS in the box upper wire holder and rubber insert.
Have no idea if it works or not, but it looks like it was a working piece when it was removed.
Evidently the caps have some value, since many were drilled for larger diameter plug wires or broken thru the years...
This is a cool vintage piece that would look nice in some old street rod, or maybe even a day two Corvette...
